On July 16th, Kraken received a significant transfer of 48,641 BTC, valued at around $3.1 billion, from the Mt. Gox Rehabilitation Trustees, marking a pivotal step towards compensating those affected by the Mt. Gox collapse a decade ago. This follows the swift fund distribution by Japanese exchanges Bitbank and SBI VC Trade. Arkham Intelligence identified the address associated with Kraken, with the Mt. Gox trustee still holding another 43,114 BTC, worth approximately $2.74 billion, across several addresses.
