BTC fell 2% within an hour, reaching a low of $63,890 after trading above $66,000 earlier. At the time of publishing, BTC was at $64,000, down 0.5% over the past 24 hours. Major altcoins such as solana (SOL), cardano (ADA), and Chainlink’s token (LINK) also saw declines of 2%-4%. The broad-market crypto benchmark CoinDesk 20 Index (CD20) was down 1.2% over the past 24 hours, with most constituents in the red.
